Inner Wheel District 6 Association of Inner Wheel Clubs in Great Britain and Ireland
Inner Wheel District 6Association of Inner Wheel Clubsin Great Britain and Ireland

New beginnings are always exciting and starting out as the Chairman of District 6 for the coming year, is the most exciting I can imagine. The best part of the year is being able to visit every Club in the District, meeting the membership and discovering what they're doing. Every Club is different, although the principles of fellowship and friendship, are what guides us. Helping in our communities and also fundraising for projects abroad, allow us to have fun whilst helping others.
If you are a member browsing the site for inspiration from the activities of other clubs, you will certainly find it here. If you are browsing the site because you are interested in what Inner Wheel is about, why not visit one or two Clubs in your area and really find out what motivates our members. You will receive a warm welcome and there is no pressure to join us until you are sure it is for you.
Enjoy your Inner Wheel and encourage others to join in too.

Pauline Smart

District Chairman 2016/17

Three members form the Inner Wheel Club of Stratford upon Avon, including past International Service Chairman Valerie Redfern, enjoyed a visit to the School in a Bag Headquarters recently.

As well as doing some bagpacking, they were delighted to present cheques to help the fantastic work of SIAB from both the District and the Club.

On Thursday 23rd June the District Meeting and AGM took place and a new Exective Team were installed. The meeting was well attended and members enjoyed a lovely dinner. Presentations were made to the winner of the Bowls competition and to Coventry who celebrated their 80th Anniversary recently.

Pauline Smart, from the Inner Wheel of Kenilworth, is now District Chairman

The June edition of All About 6 has now been distributed to Clubs. You can find an electronic copy of it on the All About 6 page. We would be delighted to receive feedback from members about ideas you may have for features. We are delighted to have The Lake at Barston Bar and Restaurant advertising in the Magazine.

The recent International Rally was a lovely event with a sumptious afternoon tea and interesting speakers. We enjoyed listening to Roger Cassidy from Aquabox which

aims to provide safe drinking water to communities affected by disasters. We also received greetings from International Service Chairman Ann Acaster and had an update from Jane Kaye Bailey about the Butterfly Tree

Did you know............ it only takes 10 to 12 women to form a Club - and then YOU could help change the World! Go to the Membership Page for more information.

Don't forget to check the What's New page for the latest updates!
