Inner Wheel District 6 Association of Inner Wheel Clubs in Great Britain and Ireland
Inner Wheel District 6Association of Inner Wheel Clubsin Great Britain and Ireland

New beginnings are always exciting and starting out as the Chairman of District 6 for the coming year, is the most exciting I can imagine. The best part of the year is being able to visit every Club in the District, meeting the membership and discovering what they're doing. Every Club is different, although the principles of fellowship and friendship, are what guides us. Helping in our communities and also fundraising for projects abroad, allow us to have fun whilst helping others.
If you are a member browsing the site for inspiration from the activities of other clubs, you will certainly find it here. If you are browsing the site because you are interested in what Inner Wheel is about, why not visit one or two Clubs in your area and really find out what motivates our members. You will receive a warm welcome and there is no pressure to join us until you are sure it is for you.
Enjoy your Inner Wheel and encourage others to join in too.

Pauline Smart

District Chairman 2016/17

On Friday 9th September members from across the District enjoyed a lovely lunch and informative speakers at the District Rally. Visit to Aquabox Headquarters

Six members of the Stratford upon Avon Club visited the headquarters of Aquabox recently.

The charity is led by the Rotary Club of Wirksworth and run completely by volunteers. They delivered blankets, teddies and baby clothes, all hand knitted. By the time the tour was completed the goods were ready for shipping to Syria in mid October.

First Response in Atherstone

At a recent meeting of the Atherstone Club members enjoyed a presentation by speaker Sam, a First Responder.

This is the Charity that Atherstone's  President, Wendy Garner is supporting this year.

Members were interested to learn how First Responders are all Volunteers and work with the Ambulance Service.

Did you know............ it only takes 10 to 12 women to form a Club - and then YOU could help change the World! Go to the Membership Page for more information.

Don't forget to check the What's New page for the latest updates!

District Chairman Pauline has selected the Macular Society Research Appeal as her Charity for the year.

The District 6 International Charity is Bees Abroad.

The National President, Zena Cole, has chosen beat for her charity.

The International President, Oluyemisi Alatise, has chosen 'Touch a Heart ' as her theme.
