Inner Wheel District 6Association of Inner Wheel Clubsin Great Britain and Ireland

Welcome to the website for Inner Wheel District 6. District 6 lies in the Heart of England drawing its membership from Warwickshire, West Midlands, parts of Worcestershire and Staffordshire. It has 29 Clubs with a membership of over 700; just a small part of International Inner Wheel, one of the largest women's organisations in the world.

Most clubs meet monthly throughout the year, but there are also many other opportunities to meet and share fun and fellowship at informal social and fund raising events. We value our friendship and work hard for our charities, fund raising for both home and international projects.

Please browse this website to find out more about Inner Wheel and District 6.

The Inner Wheel Club of Edgbaston Convention manned a Cake Stall and Giant Connect Four game at the recent Rotary Dragon Boat Race at Birmingham’s Edgbaston Reservoir

Dspite being a cool day, the event was very enjoyable with 10 teams taking part in the race and the Inner Wheel stand proved popular, especially the chocolate brownies!

It finished with an energetic Lion Dance. Click on their page below for more information.

We are delighted that International Service Chairman Valerie Redfern has been voted on to the Inner Wheel International Service Committee for GB&I.

Pictured left at the International Rally, Valerie, has done a wonderful job during her time as District 6 International Service Chairman.

She has enjoyed visiting the many Clubs in the District, picking up knitted items and other goodies on her travels.

The recent International Rally was a lovely event with a sumptious afternoon tea and interesting speakers. We enjoyed listening to Roger Cassidy from Aquabox which

aims to provide safe drinking water to communities affected by disasters. We also received greetings from International Service Chairman Ann Acaster and had an update from Jane Kaye Bailey about the Butterfly Tree

Did you know............ it only takes 10 to 12 women to form a Club - and then YOU could help change the World! Go to the Membership Page for more information.

Don't forget to check the What's New page for the latest updates!
