Welcome to Inner Wheel!

I am honoured to be serving as the District Chairman this year and look forward to visiting our 22 clubs in  Warwickshire, West Midlands, parts of Worcestershire and Staffordshire.  Friendship is at the core of all that is done and achieved by members of Inner Wheel and each Club has its own social events and fund raising projects. My chosen charity for this year is Hearing Dogs for the Deaf.

If you are not a member of Inner Wheel do come and visit a club near you, you will be made most welcome.

Warm Wishes

Jill

District Chairman 2018/19

DISRICT MEETING THIS MONTH!

On 22nd November we will have our next District 6 Meeting at the Lakes at Barston which will take place at lunchtime. We will have the chance for some retail therapy as Clubs have been invited to have stalls at the meeting to give an opprtunity to raise funds for their own CLub charities. Don't miss it!

AUTUMN AT THE ARBORETUM

Ladies and partners from the Inner Wheel Club of Edgbaston Convention enjoying an autumnal visit to Batsford Arboretum. They had a good walk around the grounds admiring the beautiful Fall colours and finished with a warming bowl of soup in the Visitor Centre.

GHASTLY AND GHOULISH!

Stratford upon Avon Members had a spooktacular time at their recent Halloween Supper. People entered into the 'spirit' of the occasion and dressed accordingly - much to the fright of the host's neighbours! The blood cocktail went down a treat  and the event was very successful in raising funds for international charities.

POPPY COMMEMORATION

A request was sent  to the ladies of Redditch IW for knitted/crocheted poppies.  So thanks to the ladies that pulled out their knitting needles and responded to the call.  They were delivered  to Bromsgrove Methodist Centre in time for the launch of the poppy display on  Saturday 27th October.

Did you know...... it only takes 10 to 12 women to form a Club - and then YOU could help change the World! Go to the Membership Page for more information.

Don't forget to check the What's New page for the latest updates!
