Inner Wheel District 6 Association of Inner Wheel Clubs in Great Britain and Ireland
Inner Wheel District 6Association of Inner Wheel Clubsin Great Britain and Ireland

I am very much looking forward to visiting the Inner Wheel Clubs of District 6 during my year as Chairman and meeting members.

It will be interesting to see the different projects that Inner Wheel Clubs are involved with and the events that are being held to fundraise for Local and International Charities. Fellowship and Friendship are very important with a little joyful excess added. Why Not!

I have chosen two charities to support for my year as Chairman. Burnaid is a small local charity based in Birmingham that aims to support burn survivors and their families, run entirely by volunteers. Dogs for Good is also a local charity training Assistance dogs who support adults and children with a range of disabilities, specialising in children with Autism.

If you are not a member of Inner Wheel do come and visit a club near you, you will be made most welcome.

Warm Wishes

Pamela

District Chairman 2017/18

INTERNATINAL SERVICE RALLY IS THE BEES KNEES!

Over 130 Inner Wheel members members enjoyed an indulgent Afternoon Tea at the recent International Seervices Rally held at the Westmead Hotel, Hopwood. Speakers included Bees Abroad, a charity we are supporting this year, and the Chinthowa Trust which we will be supporting next year.

      BOWLED       OVER!

18 members from across the District recently enjoyed taking part in the District 6 Crown Green Bowls Competition. The weather started uncertainly but brightened up and much fun was had by all. Pamela Eaves and Janet Vaughan were worthy winners, click to read the full report below.

COME ALONG AND JOIN US!

Not long now until the next District 6 Meeting and Annual General Meeting at the Lake at Barston Restaurant on Thursday June 28th. This will be an evening meeting and include a delicious meal and a chance to get together with many other Clubs from across the District.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
