Hall Green

Club Name:
Welcome to the Inner Wheel Club of Hall Green

About the Club:
We have eleven members and enjoy quite a high average attendance.  We don’t let the absence of a Rotary Club cramp our style, but enjoy our ladies-only friendships very much indeed.  In common with many other clubs, we in Hall Green gain strength for our fund-raising by combining it with consumption of home-made goodies at coffee mornings, lunches and afternoon teas.

From time to time one of our own members will be brave enough to fill the speaker slot to tell us about fascinating experiences, profession or hobby.

Included in our Home Service scheme is the making of blankets for Project Linus, and we hope to support other GB&I charities by using our craft skills as well as making donations.

Our contributions to International Service are varied.  We enjoy regular knit and natter afternoons when we work on jerseys, hats, gloves, scarves and blanket squares, in the main; and we’re not allowed home until we’ve put a contribution in the pot for the International Service kitty.  These sessions and the work done at home enable us each year to take a car-load of assorted items to the International Service Rally for collection by International Aid Trust, as well as contributing to our own International Service Organiser's charity.
